Meet Chef Rami Nore
In Rami’s family, food and especially dinners, were the times when everybody gathered around a home cooked meal to share a moment together. Ever since then food has been important to him, and nowadays Rami sees food as one of his main love languages. Growing up in a small village, with no restaurant around, they have always felt a special place to Rami. Time has passed and since then Rami has found himself working in multiple respected restaurants, including Noma, which is seen as one of the best ones in the world.
Rami started his career as a young man, who didn’t yet know which path to choose. He’s always been better active than sitting still, so his love for food, interest towards buzzling kitchens and creating something with your hands felt like a good direction to follow. After graduating from culinary school, Rami grew ambitious for more. Following year he enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences for bachelor’s degree in kitchen management and entrepreneurship. As a second year student, he opened his first company and year after that the second one. Following his second graduation Rami took part in the world of Michelin starred restaurants and have since worked in numerous establishments across the globe in Helsinki, Berlin, Copenhagen and Kyoto.
Rami has always felt a deep connection to nature and that’s where he feels happiest and most alive. Since starting cooking 13 years ago, he’s kept this connection alive through cooking and deepening his knowledge on ingredients. His food philosophy is based on what you can’t farm, harvest, forage, fish, hunt or butcher, you can’t serve. That being said it’s all about seasonal, local and organic ingredients. Rami thinks that anyone would know how to cook with high quality and expensive ingredients, but to know how to cook with what you have right in front of you is a true challenge he is willing to go the extra mile for. In Rami’s events guests can expect to have food and beverages immersed with something more; art, music, and exceptional locations.
